Christ is born!

Dear brothers and sisters,
Merry Christmas and a happy new year from our family to yours!
We hope you are doing well! Thank you for taking the time to read our newsletter. It is a great honor to share with you what God is doing in Serbia. Please leave some notes in the comments section, we would be glad to read them and reply!

Church Updates

These weeks have been very busy with ministry in the church, we were participating in Christmas Choir Concerts and church services.
Stefan continues to preach in the book of Galatians and it has been a blessing. We have every Tuesday prayer meeting and we are able to pray as a church and for one another. Mariana had also the opportunity to participate in the woman`s meeting, where they did some crafts and study the word of God together. We had the privilege to serve in the church in Titel and in the church in Subotica helping with the worship. Stefan also brought one of his teachers from the seminary called Pr. Mark to preach in the church and encourage the brothers and sisters.

Christmas Choir Concerts

We had the privilege to participate in the choir of our church, where we sing together with two other churches. We were able to do a little tour around some towns making Christmas concerts and sharing the gospel. It was a great opportunity and a way to get closer together with the brothers and sisters from the other churches.

Big Announcement

We are expecting a baby girl!!! We are so glad to finally share this with you guys, probably some of you already know, but Mari is 17 weeks pregnant and they are both doing well. We will have a summer baby and can`t wait to have her in our arms! Keep praying for the pregnancy, there were some blood results that were a little high, but the ultrasound was fine. Keep praying for the baby to be healthy and that the pregnancy and delivery will go smoothly.

Prayer requests

We are grateful for your prayers and for partnering with us in our ministry. Here are our prayer requests:

Praise: Mari’s driver’s license was transferred and everything went well.

  • Ministry opportunities – pray for the prayer meeting that we started, that more people from church will see the importance to go to prayer meetings, and for the men’s meeting that they will be able to encourage each other and grow together.
  • People who heard the Gospel through the choir – pray for the people that heard the choir, who had the opportunity to hear the gospel, pray that they will want to learn more about God, and will want to visit the church.
  • Pregnancy – pray for Mari and our baby girl, that everything can continue to go well in the pregnancy and that baby can continue to grow healthy.
  • Language learning – pray for Mari as she is learning Serbian.
  • Support Raising – pray that God will continue to provide for us. We continue in the process of raising support so that we can work full-time in the ministry. Pray as well if God is putting on your heart to be partners with us in this ministry. Stefan has to work on the side to be able to support our financial needs, but we want to be able to focus full-time on the ministry. At the moment, since Stefan has to work on the side, all our support goes directly to the needs of the church and ministry since we have enough money for all the bills for now, but we are still praying that in the future we will have enough support to go full-time ministry as we continue to give all our needs before the Lord!
  • Auto-immune Disease – as you know Stefan has a chronicle disease called Ulcerative Colitis, there is no cure but it can be controlled. Pray that the medication will keep it dormant for the rest of his life and that he won’t have big problems with that in the future.

Thank you for taking the time to read our newsletter. We are very thankful for all of you amazing people who encourage us and pray for us!

Have a blessed Christmas! We live because He lives!
Please let us know how we can be praying for you!

God bless,

Stefan and Mariana Vika.
